Front Loop Only
Also known as: FLO
Working through only the front loop of a stitch. Creates a ridge on the opposite side from BLO.
How to Front Loop Only
1. Identify the two loops at the top of each stitch.
2. The front loop is the one CLOSEST to you.
3. Insert your hook under the front loop ONLY.
4. Complete your stitch as normal.
💡 Pro Tips
FLO leaves the back loop exposed, which can be used later for edging or added texture. Often used in reversible patterns.
