Cross Stitch

Also known as: Crossed dc

Two double crochets that cross over each other, creating an X pattern. Adds visual interest with minimal complexity.

How to Cross Stitch

1. Skip 1 stitch, dc in the next stitch. 2. Dc in the SKIPPED stitch (working in front of the dc you just made). 3. The two dc stitches now cross, forming an X.

💡 Pro Tips

The second dc goes IN FRONT of the first. Keep consistent tension so the crosses look even. Works beautifully as an allover pattern.
