If something goes wrong while your pattern is being made, you now see exactly what was being created alongside the error, and can tap "Try again" without losing any of your choices. No starting over.

"I know what I want" mode is now cleaner — just the text box and the optional details panel, no extra prompts in the way.

Brand-new "Design Your Pattern" experience: tell us what you'd like to make in one sentence and we write the whole pattern. Size, yarn weight, and skill level are now optional — if you skip them we read your description and pick the right ones for you ("baby blanket" → baby size, "delicate lace shawl" → fingering yarn).

Six prompt chips above the box for the "blank page" moment — they mix what's seasonal, what you've made before, and what other makers are crocheting this week.

Surprise me button — when you're in the mood to crochet but can't decide what. One tap and we hand you a fresh idea.

Yarn Stash: every yarn now has a "Make something with this yarn" button. Tap it and we open the designer pre-filled with that skein.

On every pattern page: a "Make a variation" panel — turn the pattern into a baby-sized version, different colors, different yarn, or a matching companion piece. One tap each.

Empty search now turns into a starting point — type "rainbow scarf" and if we don't have one, we offer to design it for you instead of showing an empty page.

Dashboard "What to make next" carousel — personalised suggestions based on what you love, with one-tap launch into the designer.

Form is shorter: one textarea + the new chips is all you have to fill in. Need to dial in a specific size or yarn? Tap "Add details" to expand the optional fields.
