Thermal Stitch
Also known as: Double-thick sc
Single crochet worked through the back loop of the current row AND the front loop of the row below, so two layers fuse into one very dense, warm fabric.
How to Thermal Stitch
1. Work a foundation row of sc through the back loop of the chain.
2. Each stitch after: insert hook through the unworked front loop of the row below and the back loop of the next st on the current row, then complete a sc.
💡 Pro Tips
Uses almost twice the yarn of plain sc. Go up a hook size or two.
