Bobble Stitch
Also known as: Bobble, bob
A cluster of incomplete double crochets worked into the same stitch, then joined at the top. Creates a rounded bump that pops out from the fabric.
How to Bobble Stitch
1. Yarn over, insert hook, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through 2 (2 loops on hook).
2. Repeat step 1 in the SAME stitch 4 more times (6 loops on hook).
3. Yarn over and pull through ALL 6 loops at once.
4. Ch 1 to secure (optional, pattern dependent).
💡 Pro Tips
Bobbles naturally push to the back of the work. Work the ch-1 tightly to lock the bobble in place. 5-dc bobbles are standard but some patterns use 3 or 4.
