Post Stitch Ribbing

Also known as: FPdc/BPdc rib, 1x1 rib

Front and back post double crochets alternating one by one, so columns stand out and sink in like knit ribbing.

How to Post Stitch Ribbing

1. Work a row of dc in an even number of stitches. 2. Next row: *FPdc around the next st, BPdc around the next st*, repeat across. 3. Repeat that row — work FP around the stitches that stand toward you and BP around those that sink away.
