Loop Stitch

Also known as: Fur stitch

A single crochet with a loop of yarn held around a finger, leaving a loop standing out on the back of the fabric — makes fur, manes and shaggy rugs.

How to Loop Stitch

1. Wrap the yarn from front to back around one finger held behind the work. 2. Insert hook in the stitch, catch both strands behind the finger and pull them through (3 loops). 3. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. Slide the finger out.

💡 Pro Tips
