Griddle Stitch
Also known as: Lemon peel stitch, sc/dc alternate
Single crochet and double crochet alternating across the row. The short and tall stitches nest into each other and give a dense, bumpy texture.
How to Griddle Stitch
1. Work over an even number of stitches.
2. Each row: ch 1, *sc in the next st, dc in the next st*, repeat across, turn.
3. Each sc lands on a dc and each dc on a sc.
