Extended Single Crochet
Also known as: Extended sc, exsc
A single crochet with one extra pull-through, so it stands a little taller and the fabric is softer and drapier than plain sc.
How to Extended Single Crochet
1. Insert hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (2 loops on hook).
2. Yarn over and pull through 1 loop (2 loops remain).
3. Yarn over and pull through both loops.
💡 Pro Tips
A good swap for sc in garments and baby blankets where sc would be too stiff.
