Slip Stitch
Also known as: Slip stitch join
The shortest of all crochet stitches. Used to join rounds, move yarn position, or create a flat seam.
How to Slip Stitch
1. Insert hook into the stitch.
2. Yarn over.
3. Pull through both the stitch AND the loop on your hook in one motion.
4. One slip stitch complete.
💡 Pro Tips
Slip stitches should be loose. They add almost no height. Great for invisible joins in rounds.
