Colorwork
Tapestry Crochet
Also known as: Mosaic-free colourwork, jacquard crochet
Two or more colours worked in single crochet from a chart, with the unused colour carried inside the stitches. Makes pictures and geometric designs.
How to Tapestry Crochet
1. Lay the unused colour along the top of the row you are working into.
2. Work each sc over it, so it hides inside the stitches.
3. Change colours on the last pull-through of the stitch before the colour change in the chart.
💡 Pro Tips
Keep the carried yarn slightly loose so the fabric does not pucker.
