Star Stitch
Also known as: Marguerite stitch, daisy stitch
Creates a beautiful star or daisy pattern by pulling up loops through multiple points and joining them together.
How to Star Stitch
1. Pull up a loop in the 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 4 stitches (6 loops on hook).
2. Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops.
3. Ch 1 to form the eye of the star.
4. For the next star, insert into the eye, then back into the same stitch as the last leg, then into the next 3 stitches.
💡 Pro Tips
Star stitch creates a thick, warm fabric. Pull up your loops tall and even. The \"eye\" chain is crucial — don't forget it!
