Crab Stitch
Also known as: Reverse single crochet, rev sc, corded edge
Single crochet worked backwards, from left to right. Each stitch twists over the last and makes a firm, corded edge.
How to Crab Stitch
1. Do not turn — work along the last row with the right side facing.
2. Insert hook into the next stitch to the RIGHT, yarn over, pull up a loop.
3. Yarn over and pull through both loops.
4. Keep moving to the right.
💡 Pro Tips
It feels awkward at first. Keep the loops loose. Left-handed: work from right to left.
