Picot
Also known as: Picot edging
A small decorative bump created by chaining 3 and slip stitching back into the base. Adds a delicate finishing touch to edges.
How to Picot
1. Ch 3 (or number specified).
2. Slip stitch into the first chain (or into the base stitch).
3. One picot complete. Continue with your edging.
💡 Pro Tips
Smaller chains (ch-2) make subtle picots, larger chains (ch-4+) make pronounced ones. Block your picots to make them stand up nicely.
