About My Crochet Studio
Free, mathematically tested crochet patterns โ designed for crocheters who want instructions they can actually trust.
What we make
My Crochet Studio publishes free crochet patterns for every skill level โ beginner hats and scarves, intermediate blankets and amigurumi, advanced cabled and lacework pieces. Every pattern includes a materials list, gauge target, full stitch counts at the end of every row, and step-by-step instructions in standard US crochet terminology. You can read every pattern on the web, save it to your library, or generate a printable PDF.
How patterns get made
Every pattern starts as a description โ a finished item, a target size, a yarn weight. From there, our designers and our pattern-generation tooling work together on the math: stitch counts that add up at every row, gauge that produces the stated finished size, and yardage that matches what an average crocheter actually uses. Patterns are reviewed before publication and updated when readers flag issues.
Why "mathematically tested"
Most pattern errors are math errors โ a missed stitch in the foundation chain that compounds into a parallelogram, a circumference target that doesn't actually match a human head, increases that don't space evenly. We check the math twice: once during generation, and again during review. If you find a math error, the feedback button on every pattern lets us know โ patterns get corrected, not ignored.

You just can't sell or redistribute the written pattern itself. Credit to My Crochet Studio is appreciated but not required.
